How to Track a Polygon Transaction Step by Step

Learn how to track any Polygon (POL/MATIC) transaction by TX hash or wallet address using a free, real-time Polygon transaction tracker.

Tracking a Polygon transaction is straightforward when you have the right tool. Follow these steps to look up any transaction on the Polygon PoS blockchain.

Step 1 – Get Your TX Hash or Wallet Address

Every transaction on the Polygon network has a unique transaction hash (TX hash) — a 66-character string starting with '0x'. You can find it in your wallet app (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.) or from the person who sent you funds.

Step 2 – Enter It in the Search Bar

Paste the TX hash or wallet address into the search bar at the top of polygontransactiontracker.com and press Enter.

Step 3 – Read the Transaction Details

The results page shows: transaction status (Success / Pending / Failed), block number and timestamp, sender and receiver addresses, amount of POL or tokens transferred, gas fee paid in GWEI, and number of confirmations.

Step 4 – Monitor Wallet History

Enter a wallet address instead of a TX hash to see the full history of all transactions associated with that address — including token holdings, NFT activity, and historical balances.
